Gardens and Plants

Sweet William in my garden

Gardening has been a wonderful experience in my life. It is also one of the very few times that, when I began, I literally called myself A BEGINNER. The reason? So that I would be allowed to fail as I learned. I was a perfectionist to the point where I caused myself a lot of stress. I am capable of so much more excellence, but sometimes our lesser character traits can get in the way of achieving that excellence. Gardening has provided me with so much fulfillment, and I thoroughly enjoy the new lessons that come with every season.

If it were not for working the soil and giving life to dormant seeds, I would not be as peaceful as I am. I would still be caught up in the more superficial things in life, and escaping that to a large degree has made me more relaxed than I ever imagined I could be. Living in a church also helps! Lol

We are beings of nature. We are meant to thrive in our natural surroundings that do not include concrete, electromagnetic frequences from our devices, and all the material distractions in our lives. I encourage you to nurture the life around you, whether it be in your soil, your water, the air in your environment, or the obvious forms of life that can move themselves.

All deserve respect. We are All. We are One. All are One. One is All. All deserves respect.

Thank you, plants and elements, for your existence. I honour you with my choices and strive to protect and respect. We are Guardians of the Gardens, Guardians of Earth.

Love,

Dawn
